Nada Gorman

Nada Gorman was elected President of Sask Sport Inc. in June 2012 and was originally nominated to the board of directors by Softball Saskatchewan in 2010. Ms. Gorman has served on the Trust and chaired the Sport Funding Committee. She most recently served as Vice President of Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation.

Nada Gorman was born in Indian Head and played ten years in the Regina Minor Girls Softball League where she helped her teams win three consecutive Regina City Championships from 1986 to 1988. Nada was recruited by Kennesaw State University in Marietta, Georgia which resulted in her receiving a five year athletic scholarship. During her time as captain, her team won two consecutive NCAA Division II Championships in 1995 and 1996. She was also a member of the Canadian National Women's Softball Team in 1997 and 1998.

Among her many accomplishments, Nada has been active in the Regina Touch Football League and the Regina Ladies Basketball League, and has served as a clinician and private instructor for minor girls' softball in southern Saskatchewan and was a community coach for the Sheldon Williams High School softball team. Nada Gorman was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.
